BH Gold
Insurance Agency
Problem:
BH Gold had a complex IT infrastructure that was overwhelming their existing staff. The company quickly needed an engineering team as a partner that could simplify the infrastructure. In addition, BH Gold currently had no Disaster Recovery solution in place.
Pravis Solution:
We partnered closely with the BH Gold team and implemented Microsoft Azure Site Recovery as a DR solution, with Azure Backup for file level backup. We also migrated from Citrix XenServer to Microsoft Hyper-V 2012 R2. The Server 2012 R2 File Server upgrades reduced storage consumption by 45%. Adding a high availability network upgrade, and switching from Google Apps to Office 365, made for a much more manageable email system. The reduced burden on staff allowed them to focus more on company profitability.
